We insist when our seaflo sprayers are manufactured they are made to a quality standard to withstand constant use in NZ farming enviroments. Our sprayers are made to be multipurpose. For boom spraying and spot spraying.
Our sprayers can be used for two jobs not like other seaflo sprayers sold in nz as they have a smaller pump and do not have a pressure regulator to be able to do both jobs. The pressure regulator is a must when you want to do boom spraying as you need to run the boom at 2 – 4 bar(29 psi – 58 psi). So if you run your boom at a higher pressure(eg:100 psi) it would be like a low pressurwe waterblaster and spray would overspray/drift more and go on to areas or plants you didn’t want sprayed. When boom spraying it is a must to be able to regulate your pressure to eliminate any overspary or drift. The surplus spray bypasses back in to the tank. For gun/spot spraying you need higher pressure than boom spraying so you can turn the regulator up accordingly on your seaflo atv sprayer.
